Why do children accept their parents' incorrect upbringing methods?

Answer:

Children who are brought up wrongly are compelled to accept their parents' disturbed ideas of their body and its functions. In this way they are prevented from developing an intelligible image of the body's various functions and the feeling that they are able to control them. But they accept their parents' disturbed ideas in order to retain even a very unstable balance with the people in their surroundings whom they are dependent on.
