Why can't I get completely well from an eating disorder?

Answer:
Your sick self, which promises quick satisfaction, will never completely disappear. All your life you must be on guard against simple solutions which promise a quick kick without managing the real problems. To eat in order to relieve feelings may short-sightedly seem easy. In a stressful situation, the temptation to eat compulsively might take over, even if you have really matured beyond that phase of your life.
