I have had insomnia for over 2 yrs. I am 50, female, and have fibromyalgia and depression and am in menopause. I have tried so many prescription and home remedies to get to sleep.Nothing works. I get to sleep, wake up in two hrs & cannot get back to sleep unless I have a bowl of cereal. This puts me back to sleep for the rest of the night. But I do not dream and wake up unrested and tired. Can you explain what is going on and how I might be able to get to sleep and stay asleep all night.
It there something to cereal that would put me back to sleep for the rest of the night? For I find this really strange.
Can you help? My lack of sleep is really wrecking havoc with my health.
Please send help.
Thank you.
Never drink coffee except for breakfast. Be outdoors and excercise many hours a day, as people with hard manual work do not have sleep problems. Eat carbohydrates in the evening and use protein primarily for breakfast and lunch.
