Abstract:
Lots of different symptoms before menstruation (girls period).
Question:
What is the PMS?
Answer:
Epidemiological surveys have shown that up to 75% of women of reproductive age experience some symptoms attributed to the premenstrual phase of the menstrual cycle. More than 100 physical and psychological symptoms have been reported; however, most women are able to manage these symptoms through lifestyle changes and conservative therapies. This phenomenon is often classified by the term premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and usually refers to any combination of syndromes that appear during the week before menstruation and that resolve within a week of onset of menses.
