First version: 22 Jul 2008. Latest version: 03 Dec 2010.

Abstract:

Any pair of medicines can have interactions. You can look up in data bases if two medicines have known interactions.

Question:

Is there any known interaction my medicines?

Answer:

Any two medical drugs (medicines) can have severe interactions. You should always ask your doctor and / or pharmacists if you have to combine any two drugs (including over-the-counter pharmacies).

An excellent database of drug interaction is provided by the German Journal of Online Psychiatry interaction calculator.

The data base is in English, but uses specialist medical terms. If you do not understand these terms, you can look them up in a medical dictionary.
