Abstract:

Speech anxiety is defined as an abnormal distress when you have to talk to a large group of people.

Answer:

While it is normal to feel nervous if you have to speak to a large audience, speech anxiety is characterized by an abnormal anticipation and perception in a situation where you have to communicate or present a topic.
