At what age do children learn how to recognize hunger?
Answer:
Learning about hunger is not limited to infancy, but continues throughout childhood. The more the parents' reactions are adapted to the child's needs and impulses, the better the child can learn to distinguish between different bodily experiences and other thoughts which come from within. The child then grows to be a person who, even in the presence of difficulties, can feel self-cantered in his own activities and not helpless before bodily urges or externally controlled.
