A man buying flowers to my wife

I have a question concerning a man buying my Wife flowers. The man that purchased the flowers is one of her co-workers. I found them in her car last week, and have been fuming ever since. She kept saying that they were just friends, but it bothers the hell out of me, and she defends this guy. I told her to have him call me, and he also defends what he did. Am I going insane ? I told this guy that he was in the wrong for buying another man's wife flowers, and he told me I was insecure. Am I right for being upset? He said is was because she was having a bad day. I told him he could have chosen a dozen other ways of going about it, without the purchase of flowers, but he said he would do it again if he felt it necessary. Is this guy for real? I am lost. Did he buy red roses or just ordinary flowers?

I have got so many flowers during my life and my husband has never reacted in a negative way. We are still married. Be wonderful to your wife instead of suspicious, if you want to keep her.
