question
My parents are getting a divorce. I've been thinking about which one of my parents I want to go with, but I love both of my parents and I don't want to hurt either one. The problem is not only the divorce though. My mom has a fatal disease that will eventually kill her, and she's at the point where she can't take care of herself. If I leave my mom she's going to be put into a nursing home, alot of people are trying to convince me to stay with my mom. A part of me wants to be selfish, right now I'm 15 and since I was in the forth grade I haven't had a real childhood. My dad was the one that practically raised my sister and me, and I'm really close to him. I don't know this is just a really confusing situation. Think that you could help?

It is too much of a burden for a 15 years old to take care of a severely ill patient. Visit your mother, but let professional people care for her.
