question
I have been having a long distance relationship for 2,5 years until I broke up last week. The reason for the break up is that my father found out that my boyfriend is married back in his country.

I was totaly shocked when I found out and did not expect it at all. We had the most loving relationship and grew closer together feeling being true soul mates. We even had plans for a marriage in 2008.

He admitted being married and being wrong in not telling me. Apparently his marriage was dead but he did not have the courage to talk to his wife about a divorce and he did not want to loose me. The last news I have from him is that they are about to start the divorce procedure and that is he is doing everything to 'clean' up his life.

He has been frequently asking me to give him a second chance saying that I am the only woman in his life who he can see a future with. He is willing to do everything to gain me back and begs me to forgive him.

My parents are telling me to change phonenumbers and go on with my life. Myself I have doubts. I am not sure whether I could trust him again in the future and whether he is not going to cheat me (like he did to his wife). I told him to leave me alone and that I do not believe in a future together, nevertheless he is very persuading.

I am 30, he is 34. He has been married for 4 years, no children.

Please advice,

Brenda
