The dinosaurs went extinct because of a large meteorite impact with the earth. If this had not happended, possibly we would today have intelligent dinosaurs instead of intelligent mammals.

Such large meteorite impacts, which kill most of the life on earth, happen every fifty million years or so. Thus, before the sun becomes a red giant, we can expect many such large meteorite impacts. Will humans be able to outlive such an impact, or will we go extinct at the next meteorite impact, just like the dinosaurs (excpect the birds) did?

Individuals differ in intelligence, and especially in their scores on intelligence tests. Intelligence test scores predict individual differences in school achievement moderately well.

Egentligen borde sådana här gamla, dåliga översättningar av texter i Web4health nyöversättas med de mycket bättre översättare som finns idag, jämfört med 2006, då översättningen som jag svarar på nu, gjordes.

Intelligent dinosaurs: But that is what would probably happen. And probably much earlier in time. The meteor which killed the dinosaurs may have opened up the future for mammals, including mankind. But the dinosaurs had a great advantage. It would take millions of years for the mammals to evolve to the status which would produce intelligent beings. So intelligent dinosaurs would probably appear many millions of years before intelligent mammals.
