Duel Personality

I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder about 14 years ago,depression and all the threads that go with it.I am 57. Now I am told by a new Dr. I also have PTSD and a "duel personality". What is a Duel Personality?

Duel Personality disorder, is a disorder where a person is confused about who they are and have multiple personalities, without knowing, the person could black out and totally become a different person. Though the main you is the centre person other personalities may branch off from your own breating unique individuals which express different emotions, desires and needs.

I guess we are talking about a *dual* personality, even if the two personality aspects could be said to be fighting each other...

how do you know if you have it? My mother is bipolar and i have depression although i don't know how deep my problems go, i was just wondering. I have friends who majors in psychology and said something about the possibility of my having "duel" personality but if you dont "black out" is that still possible?
