Cold Mother!

Help me. I have an emotionally cold mother who sucks away all your emotions and doesn't return anything back. She tries to play this emotional drama to you when she feels offenced or has some problems of her own. Naturally, you try to support her. But later you realize that she doesn't even feel like returning you the goods or even supporting you in your bad times. She just avoids your issues or makes you feel guilty about having those issues in first place. She also tries to degrade you personally my making bad remarks about your character or sexuality for no reasons. She is a senseless child who can't accept other people for their differences they have from her own. My relationship with her has made it difficult for me to form any kind of deeper relationship with women. She is so much superficial, stubborn, arrogant, opinionated and unsympathetic that i am scared of going close to her, and in turn, going close to other women who may not be like her, but i fear of having similar experience.

Your mother might suffer from lack of empathy, but that does not mean that other women have the same disability. Try to find nice female friends that can give you what you miss from you mother.
