I am on medication for depression and anxiety. I still have frequent panic attacks. I am in a constant state of PMS and it have affected my relationship with my husband and children. I can get very angry at the slightest thing and sometimes wish I could just disappear so I would not have to deal with anything in my life. I have a very low stress lifestyle but I seem to make mountains out of molehills. I want to enjoy my life and my children but can not seem to get past these feelings. I have tried counseling and have found answers to a few of my questions but not all. Going to counseling just adds more stress to my anxiety. I'm tired and just afraid my situation is just going to get worse. I also have no sexual relationship with my husband because I am in a constant state of turmoil and feel he offers no comfort. I feel like I am loosing my mind most of the time!
Try psychotherapy again, but try other psychotherapists until you find someone who can help you. Also contact a psychiatrist. There are effective medicines against depressions and anxiety, but sometimes you need to try out several alternatives until you are satisfied. A combination of medicines and psychotherapy is usually most effectful.
