question
helo,

if someone was depressed, and had symptoms like cutting themselves, feeling like their frends were fake, and thort that their life is pointless and thoughts of suicide. and they had been getting help and was recovering really well, my question is if they are happy with themselves after a long period of recovering but every now and then they started getting LOWS. meaning being happy for an amount of time then slowly goes down with a LOW not knowing what driggered it off and then being happy later on or the next day. and if they had a reletive who has bi-polar, would they maybe experiencing minor bi-polar? or if they were happy for a day, then that night they have a LOW because they feel like the way they felt when they were depressed with thinking your friends are fake etc, would this be a sign of minor bi-polar? please reply back to me. i would really appreciate your help! cheers regards Hope Wisdom

Every woman experiences emotional ups and downs. This is a natural part of life and could not be called bipolar disorder, which is a very serious illness.
