clonazapam
i have taken clonazapam for panic and anxiety for 20yrs just when needed so i was off it sometimes for yrs but about 3 months ago it came back in full force so im anxious and panicky all the time my question should i take it twice a day as prescribed will it help me feel normal all day.ive never taken it like this before.god i wish it was gone forever.
Clonazepam has a half life of 8 hours, so you could take it every 8 hours if you needed it., but it is habit forming, and would require stepping down slowly to get off. This med is much better than Xanax for anxiety. Try therapy also it can really help with the anxiety..My husband suffers the same problem..Prozac or some other ssri might help!!! Good Luck! Keep seeking help cause u r not alone

Hi. Just logged in here and happened to see your clonazapam note. I take clonazapam for anxiety. It works well but I try to take it ONLY WHEN I NEED IT. Otherwise it does nothing. I also have found that the only thing that works for me for panic attacks is Xanax, which I seldom have to use, thank goodness. May I also recommend a book or a class by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, "Mindfulness Meditation"...I was able to cut all my meds in half after taking that course! It is a type of meditation and it incorporates yoga, and it really works!

hI: I just started to take clonazapam. They found that I had high blood pressure and that it was anxiety provoked. I had been taking xanax, but that really did not help. I have just taken four pills - two a day at my doctor's advice and I do see a difference. I was shaky, blood pressure high and very nervous. I do see a difference now.
