question
My Mother is 66 and roughly 6 wks ago was diagnosed as having cellulitis and was given antibiotics and seemed to cure the condition, then 3 weeks ago her hands proceeded to swell again with severe pain and now our family doctor is treating her for arthritis, first she was given viox, then celebrex and now another drug and nothing is relieving her symptoms or her pain. My question is could this be the cellulitis reoccuring rather than arthritis? ive tried to get a doctors appointment and have been told i must wait till next monday and every day she seems to have more pain and more swelling in the hands and its now travelling to the shoulders, please what should i do

Web4health only answers psychological questions. Discuss this problem with your mothers medical doctor. Sometimes a more healthy living and alternative medicine can contribute to the solution of a health problem, when the ordinary treatment does not have the wished effect.
