question
I just moved in a new flat with my bf two weeks ago and we have had some troubles and arguements. during those things, he told me that he sometimes imagined to stab me when he saw a knife or somethings sharp, evenmore he imagined the day we argued, to jump on me and press my face with a pillow (I was sleeping). it's a real scary thing. I asked him whether he hated me, but he said 'no' he said he loves me that's why he is more scared. honestly, its not even the first time to imagine that. it sounds I'm crazy as well, I shouldn't stay with him. but I love him and I want to think he is just so stressed. but he has been so nice and sweet and he is. the problem is that he get so much stressed when he feels something difficult. he was very stressed when we moved in here. because we have had so many things to do and sort out as well as our works, we both are phds in different areas so we r very busy always.
anyway, he seems so fine now.
he said he is afraid of himself as well. do you think it's very serious or he will be fine after all of the stressful moments?

Be honom följa läkarens instruktioner noga.

I have worked for almost 9 years as public safety in the 911 arena and my advice is to move out until your b/f can find out if he has or does not have OCD. It's a little too late after the fact. MY experiences have been if they say that they're gonna do it or imagine doing it,then it's not too far ahead. I'd consider it a big,red flag.
