Is it wrong for me to be upset if my husband does not pay rent on time next month? I was laid off my job 3 weeks ago. Keeping in mind when he was getting himself stable with a job the last 7 months before I was laid off I kept the rent paid on time.

A more effective way, to make him do what you want, is to ask him in a friendly way to pay the rent in time.
