question
I believe that for a relationship to work, one person has to dominate and the other has to surrender, especially in case of long-term marital relationship. If none of the partner is willing to surrender, the relationship will ultimately end up in turmoil leading to frustration for both the people involved. Is this really the only case, or there are some alternate relationship styles ?

A marriage will be much happier if you teach the partners how to solve problems in a way that will make both partners happy and satisfied.
