question
Hi there,

I need to know how to deal with a friend who seems to thrive on lecturing me. I cannot seem to do anything right for her. Either I'm not taking proper care of my car or I'm making mistakes when it comes to selling my house, or I'm leaving her out of stuff. For the most part, she is a good person who has a big heart. She lost her Dad a couple of years ago and most recently, her job. So while I tried not take her rantings personally (thinking that it's not about me), I'm at my breaking point. How do I deal with this?

It is easier to find new friends than changing the one you are not satisfied with. But give her a chance. Tell her that you cannot stand her attitude towards you anymore.
