my girlfriend put our life on hold after a long time friend of hers told her he is in love with her. this was one month ago. she asked me to give her this time to sort things out for herself. it has hurt me and its been very stressful and i've expierenced anxiety attacks while waiting for her. she has known and respected this man for many years as a friend before she met me. she said she owes it to him to at least try. she is now ready to return to me after realizing she really does love me and wants a future with me. how do i regain my trust and respect for her and feel good about accepting her back?

The fact that she has seriously considered an alternative, but finally chosen you, should make you happy! I understand that this has been a difficult time for you. Do not supress your anxiety, but delve deep into it and try to understand it, this will often makes it easier to put it behind you.

If your problems are caused by jealousy, read what we have written about jealousy in Web4Health. Note however that I do not recommend medicines in your case.
