I am arguing in a debate in school for pro chemical castration for convicted sex offenders. Do you think it would be safe to use the point that pedophiles are kind of like gays, it's who they are and they can't help who they lust for and they will never change?
Society has an obligation to protect children from being raped. If a sex criminal prefers chemical castration to prison, I think it is OK.
Chemical castration does not have to mean that the man cannot have sexual relations. With correct dosage, chemical castration can stop the illegal activities but allow a person to have a normal, legal, relationship.
