question
my sister is 17 1/2, and for the past 2/3 years she has torn my family apart. she lies about very serious things to get people to do things for her, like lie about my mothers health and when she was going to get kicked out by my father she lied that she had been raped - and this is just a small part of it. she hits my younger sister and bullies her, she refuses to hold down a job and when she does she doesnt give my father any money towards housekeeping, i live away and i have tried to talk to her but nothing has worked. i am beginning to think she actually has some form of disorder because she has broken apart both of my parents new marriages, everyone hates her but she feels no remorse - in fact keeps on doing it! i have heard of an antisocial personality disorder and wonder whether she is suffering from it, and if she is then how do we go about getting treatment for her?

Cognitive psychotherapy can sometimes help, but do not have big expectations.
