was I a victim of sexual abuse?...

I just turned 21 and with so many different emotions going on at one time I have the need to understand things about myself more deeply. To get straight to the point: I beleive that something happened to me at a very young age (maybe 2 or 3), that has affected me emotionally. The only problem is I have no proof of what, if anything, happened. Just creepy dreams that I can't see clear enough or understand what exactly is taking place. Is there hidden messages there or should I think nothing of it? I can also sense a older male possibily a family member's hand pulling at my arm and placing it down his pants. That's all I Can visualize in my dreams and thoughts but then I wake up.

It could be that you have been the victim of sexual abuse. What has happend usually becomes clear once one starts in psychotherapy. The painfull symptoms often disappear when one remembers and reacts emotionally to that which one has experienced.
