Hello,

We have a problem, recently we have changed our 2.5 years old son's bed, from a cot to a bed.
My son now refuse to go to bad, my wife kept staying with him in his bed until he falls a sleep, but we can't do it for long.
If he stays there but him self, he is crying and screams so bad, We have to let him out.
We have tried to ignore him if he goes out and then put him back in bed, but that only produced more screaming and crying. He sayed that his bed was scary, but won't say why.
At the end we have to let him in bed with us until he falls a sleep.

Please advice us what to do?

Many Thanks

There are different schools of thought regarding what to do with children at night. Some people say that you should let the child cry the first evening, and it will then eventually learn to fall asleep by itself. Other people prefer to keep the child with them during the night.
