please help me. i am engaged to a guy that i've known for 4 years. when our relationship first started he really fell for me, whereas, due to cultural reasons I was not as in love with him. Over the years, I did fall in love with him and we are to get married very early next year. I have a problem though - over the last year or two, he gets very irritated with me over the smallest things i may say or do. he's overly sensitive and extremely sensitive. He can definitely hold a grudge. Lately, we have been getting into very heated arguments usually about me not "making him my number one priority". He has been harping on this for as long as i can remember. Although he doesn't see that i have come such a long way from a year ago when no one in my family and friends knew he existed. Now EVERYBODY knows he's in my life. That was a HUGE deal for me. We get into very bad fights where I am intimidated by him. He's a big guy with a very loud voice who makes me shudder. He has never hit me but he has punched holes through walls, kicked doors down, punched and broke the bathroom sink, etc. I don't feel like I can voice my feelings as he just gets angrier with me. All I do is cry. That is my only release. He has very, very little patience and it seems to be getting worse. little things I say hurt and offend him and he gets very sensitive about it. He actually pouts. It's very hard being with him at times as I feel I have to be concious of what I do to please him and try and keep the peace. It's very hard on me as I'm already stressed out about my work, etc. I need help. Can you tell me what is wrong with him, and how I can help. I'm really stressed out about going through with the wedding as I don't want to be crying myself to sleep every night - which is what I've done for 5 out of the last 7 nights. This is not uncommon. Please help me. I have no one to turn to to ask for advice or help.

Thank you.

Also, over the last year, I have not been very interested in having sex.

If your boyfriend is interested in having sex and you are not, he is walking around feeling very frustrated and unsatisfied. This could explain his irritation. The best help for him is a woman who loves him and appreciates having sex with him.
