My close friend went through a difficult divorce. his wife cheated on him, left him. They divorced, and they have a toddler. A few months into the divorce, they gave it another try. She left again. Now he's more depressed than ever, she's going to remarry. He talks about suicide, signing away his son, etc etc. very extreme measures, he refuses help or to talk to anyone.
what can i do??
please help me

This is easy to understand, how despaired your friend is feeling. I suggest that you drag him along to a doctor who can write him a prescription for anti-depressant medicine. After a few weeks when the medicine has had an effect, your friend should start psychotherapy, preferably group therapy. He needs therapy to help him to understand his part of what went wrong in the relationship. In the group therapy, he may meet other women who could give him valuable information. His wife has tried to give him several chances. If he goes on to a new relationship, before finding out what went wrong in the previous one, he runs the risk of making the same mistakes and ruining the new relationship as well.
