It is so nice to hear that you love your husband so much that in spite of no aparant response from him, you would not want to part with him.
To tell you the truth, after reading your story, I felt like, in fact, he is the one who requires love and acceptance from you. Perhaps he is so frustrated with the mental stress. This is created by his cholesterol and fat driving him to constant exposure to negative thoughts and driving him into depression.
It is a common side-effect of anti-depressant to change and reduce the sex desire and other medications hardly do a little help. However, you should speak with his doctor on changing the anti-depressant drug that have a lesser side-effect.
