It is now March and my son has gone to school all year. All of a sudden he refuses. He is an A-B student with no behavior problems during the school day. I have to literally drag him out of my car to get him into school. Once he is there he calms himself and is fine. Now I am at the point where he will not get into the car. He absolutely refuses. I have had several counselors talk to him. They all tell me what to do, the only thing is it's all different information. One counselor told me to strip his room of everything and make him sit in there from Friday until Monday. The school counselor keeps insisting on medicine. My question, For What? His emotions? He is so afraid that mom and dad are going to be in some sort of accident? Please give me some advice on who to see or what to do.
