Love

i had been with this guy for about 2.5 years...i am completely in love with him n he loves me too...but he has not remained like b4...he was in depression for more than a year...coz of unemployment..our relation went thru a lot of turmoil..coz da relation means life for me..n he is very practical n realistic...now that he has got a job n is settled...i thought everything shud b fine...evrythn is more or less ok...but i do not find the person i had known...he doesnt have ne urge for the relation..it has been taken for granted..even he doesnt feel like meeting me netime..we had a pretty intimate relation...but this intimacy is lost...wen ask him...n try to talk to him...he says that he doesnt feel like...but this relation all da warmth n intimacy means life for me...n i do not find these ne mor...i do not know wat to do..how to get that person back whom i knew...its taking a toll hugely in my regular life too...please help me out...i love him n so does he..so y r these problems...i want to get rid of dese...n b happy wit him...

It is usually hopeless trying to change people. Accept him the way he is. In the beginning, when you are infatuated, the relation feels different than later on, when you are back to normal. His new work may take a lot of energy from him. The best way to influence him is to appreciate when he is satisfying your needs and neglect when he is not.
