Why does my mother-in-law feel obsessively the woman who is supposed to take care of her as a lonely old woman intends to steal her cheap belongings, like herb medicine or pickles jar, in a way that she cannot prove it factually?

These thoughts are quite common among elderly people. Talk to the woman about your mother-in-law's problem.
