We have been married for 27 years with no sexual problems. My husband recently took a very high profile professional position that has become extremely stressful. Coincidentally, he is now experiencing occasional impotence and lack of sexual desire. All physical testing is normal. Since we are aware it is not physical, it is obviously a psychological problem of some sort. He states he will try to work it out himself rather than seek professional help. As this is an important part of our life, why would he not seek help immediately?
The reason he does not want to seek professional help might simply be that his life is so stressful that he does not want additional tasks? Many people do succeed in solving their problems without professional help. Can you do anything, to alleviate his stress? How does he react, if you try to seduce him?
