The Nurse's Health Study compared the frequencies of cancer for 121700 American nurses. They found a 46 % higher incidence of cancer for those who ate meat, meat products, candy, desserts, french fries, and bread made from white meal, than of those who ate fruit, vegetables, fish, poultry and whole-meal-based bread.
