Get personal advice
Sometimes you may want to ask a human person for advice.
Web4Health provides such services using Yedda. Yedda is
primarily a community question-answering service, where
anyone who is knowledgeable in an area can answer questions.
There is thus no guarantee that your question will be answered
by a medical expert or in accordance with good medical practices.
However, our experience is that the quality of the answers and advice
provided by the Yedda community is usually very good.
Web4Health medical experts will sometimes answer the questions
you write here, but more common is that your questions are
answered by the Yedda community of answer providers, who mostly are not
medical professionals.
Writing anonymous questions:
If you ask sensitive personal questions, you
will probably want to do this anonymously. The way to achieve
this is to give a user name to Yedda which does not in any
way identify who you really are, and not give any
personal identifying information in your Yedda
registration. Yedda will also ask you for an e-mail
address, but this e-mail address will not be shown to anyone
except the providers of Yedda and Web4Health, so there is no
danger in giving your normal e-mail address to Yedda.
You can also choose to have two identies in Yedda, one
anonymous for asking sensitive personal questions, and one
non-anonymous for other use of Yedda.
