Hallucination

hi i am a 26 yr old female. my boyfriend of late has been complaining that he can see a girl who used to study with us in college. though there he was not even friendly with her. she is married . he says he never had any attraction towards her . he says that he feels that she is controlling his mind . sometimes he feels like abusing her and at other times he feels that she needs his help. i am a med school graduate but i am so scared for him , he feels that he is compelled to think about her . i tried to explain but he is more interested in the paranormal side of things . of late we are staying apart bec i am preparing for exams do u feel that he is just trying to get my attention or is it schizophrenia?

Your boyfriend should consult a psychiatrist for diagnosis and perhaps treatment. The earlier he gets treatment the better chance of a successful outcome.

No woman should accept to be hit by her boyfriend. You also have a right to see your parents. Would it be possible for you to leave him?
