I have this parent asking me if her child is possible for ADHD, the child is a boy, 3 years old and has low impulsitivity, fair attention span, listens and follows directions. The child is intelligent, he has good color and shape concept, according to mother, he would often play with the cat and would often beat the cat.Symptoms of hyperactivity can only be observed when the mother is around. (Mother sees the child only before and after office hours)can this be diagnosed for ADHD? or other possible diagnosis?
