My brother has suicidal thoughts

my brother is having suicdel thoughts and i dont know what to do. He has had a rough life my mom kicked him out when he was like 12 and he gets treated like crap from almost everyone. Im the only one that dosent give him crap about every little thing. he got arrested and once and might be going back but i dont want to lose him because he killed himself. i mean he might get back on the right track if he goes to jail. He had almost everything when he was 18 he a 15.00 an hr job he had a brand new car and all because he got caught up with the wrong friends he lost it all and now hes having those thoughts i have told him how i feel but i dont think that will work please help me figure out what i should do. i am the only one that knows
