life changing decision

hi i really need help!i have to make a decision that will change my life and don' know which way to turn. i am currently living with my dad in the USA and am waiting for my greencard process to be granted.I am legal!! The only thing is that I cant work and am dying to because I've just finished college. The thing is I only have my dad here and no-one else. I can also go back home and wait out my process there, where y family and friends are and of course I can work!!this process is going to take a good couple of years and I just need some guidance as what o do about the situation.where i should go?should i stay in America and wait years for me to start working or should I go back home and wait it out there?either way , i will end up returning to the US.Please help!!

It is too boring for you to have nothing to do. Go back home and return to the US when you are allowed to work there.
