question
My son is four years old. He is afraid to fall asleep at night becuase he says he has bad dreams. We do not allow him to watch anything violent on television. He's not afraid of the dark either. Last night he finally told me what his bad dreams are: he is in a "hotwheels car" that just keeps going faster and doesn't stop, he's thrown out of his seat onto the street and says he hurts his head and needs to go to the doctor, then says in a sad tone "I hurt myself"
Should I be concerned? These dreams have been occuring for about a month now.

Let him express all his emotions in daytime. Talk to a child psychologist if your son does not get better.
