My boyfriend is a police officer. Recently he was standing right next to his partner when he was shot and killed. I know it must be hard for him. He broke-up with me and told me that he needed time for himself. But I found out after that he was with another girl before we broke-up. He doesn't usually act like this. Could he be acting on his depression?

This is not a happy answer for you, but I think he is with the other girl becase he wants to and not because of depression.
