I never meet people, feel akward together with other people

Theres something wrong with me. I've lost touch with any and all people. I've also become overweight in the past year. I go to homestudy school so I see virtually no people. Ever. I did throw myself into a social situation the other day with people I knew and I ended up just feeling akward and not speaking at all. I can't talk to girls at all and even when talking to other men I cant even asociate except with my very close friend. I spend all my time infront of the computer chatting with people, and I've even had a face to face incounter with a few and it still just turned out akward. I don't know what to do.. please give me some advice.
