question
I am an American living in Brasil. I am married to a Brazilian woman. We have a wonderful boy of 2 years and 5 months. Her ex-boyfriend is Brazilian but lives in Florida. He keeps calling her. She keeps responding. This is upsetting for her and me and ultimately the boy, but she still accepts the calls.

The ex-boyfriend had a wife and child in Florida and recently admitted to my wife that he wants nothing to do with them.

I need to protect my boy. The ex wants to break up a second family.

What can I do to protect my boy and my marriage?

Paul

What does your wife say? There must be a reason why she broke up with her ex and married you. Are you sure she wants to leave you? Maybe she only wants to help a friend in trouble. Being married does not mean that you cannot talk to other people. Ask your wife straightforward if she wants to leave you for her ex-boyfriend or if you are worried without reason.
