biracial grandchild

How can I deal with my daughter having a biracial child when I come from a prejudiced family? The child is now 7 weeks old and has shown no signs of being biracial. The boy we thought was the father decided to have a paternity test which came back negative and threw everyone for a loop including my daughter. This not only affects me and my immediate family but everyone that has been involved with this child since her birth. I already have problems with depression and this is throwing me in a deep hole.

Grandparents are very important for children. Your grandchild will need your love and affection. Coming from a prejudiced family does not mean that you will have to be prejudiced for the rest of your life. Wise people are able to reconsider.
