Was just after some advice, My 6 year old son is very hyperactive. He cant concentrate and is always on the go. He gets very easily frustrated and his moods change quite quickly and dramatically. It has got so bad at school that the school are now saying that if he cannot stop he will have to leave the school at breaks and lunch as his behaviour is getting worse. If you tell him to sit still hes straight up as though you havent told him to do anything and when talking to him its as though hes blank and your not actually talking to him. I have taken him to the doctors and they say theres nothing wrong with him. His school work is really starting to lack as he is nearly 7 and has average age of 4 year old. Is there any other advice or place you suggest to get advice as its clear there really is something wrong.

Have you visited a specialized child psychiatrist or psychologist? It is not possible to make an online diagnosis but it would be necessary to look for ADHD or conduct disorder. It would be useful to get a closer description of the teachers including some adhd checklists for teachers (Conners checklist). You can find some of these informations for you or your teachers at http://www.sandiegoadhd.org/
