question
i had male best friend for long time and he became very depressed and started cutting himself. and 2 year ago (i was 16) came to school with knife and threat me that he gonna hurt me. after that happen he went to mental hospital and never bother me at all. he have not try hurt anyone since what happened. and now i am 18 for few weeks i have ben thinking about him and crying about him bc i miss him and i wish i was still his friend. i was wondering should i try talk to him again? or move on forget about him. i really miss him i want to be friends with him again. should i be friends with him again after what happen. after what happed at school he never say sorry at all and some people said that he mad at me becuase i told on him. wil he ever forgivve me? if i talk to him do you think he will try do same thing again to me again? i am so confuse should i talk to him or move on forget about it? please respond thanks

To protect you, I would say, do not ever choose friends who have threatened you with a knife. That would be asking for trouble. Choose friends who treat you with respect instead.
