I am 23 and female. The question pertains to my significant other who is 27 and male. Whenever I have any typical female response to a situation he gets angry, such as crying or feeling hurt. He gets very tempermental. I am very laid back and I never acuse him ever of anything. To be perfectly honest I am the perfect girlfriend. I am a massage therapist so I always avoid confrontation and negative vibes but he gets defensive over simple questions. He's only had one other significant relationship before me that lasted 3 years, she cheated on him. He has never initiated sex with me either. He says he loves me but he is very unaffectionate and we've only been together for 4 months. What could be the problem? I've tried to communicate my feelings hoping to get him to open up but he gets angry and refuses to talk.

It is probably much easier to find a new partner who suits you better than changing this man.
