Hi,
I am at my witts end and trying to find an answer to my chronic fatigue. I am 26, and weigh about 125lbs. I am hard working and have been successful in the field of music. I am about to finish my master's degree.

I have had depression since my teens but have been put on numerous medicine trials since I was 17. Prozac, celexa, zoloft, paxil, and welbutrin. Last year, my doctor put me on 50mg of lamictil for rapid bipolar.

Since I can remember, I have been exhausted and felt terrible 85% of the day until I give in and take a nap. I sleep 7-9 hours a night. My doctor put me on a trial of Adderall (15 mg). After 1 week I was back to taking (NEEDING) naps to function or accomplish anything. My life is CENTERED around the need for sleep.

Please, can you help? I would appreciate ANYTHING you have to offer.
Thank you!
Kate Martin

Ask a medical doctor to examine you. Maybe you suffer from lack of iron or some other deficies. Excercise or go for a walk one hour a day and try to have healthy eating habits. Let your body decide when to sleep. Take a nap when you are tired and sleep until you wake up naturally. Accept yourself the way you are.
