My soon to be step daughter has been pulling her eyelashes and eyebrows out for about 1 year, she has now started pulling out her hair from the top of her head.
Her mother has taken her to a specialist and they have said she is bipolar. I am really concerned about the hair pulling.
I asked her if it hurt and she said "no". that really scared me because if that doesn't hurt her, What does????
I know she is mad at her parents because her mother is remarried and we are getting married soon. I am not sure if she thought by doing this they would have decided to get back together again, but she seems so angry.
She has now started wetting the bed also, and having severe temper outbursts. It is very unnerving to see her get so mad over the smallest of things.

Please give me some advice on how to help me to help her.

Your step daughter needs psychotherapy. But she also needs that you listen to her and try to be sensitive to her wishes and points of view.
