My son approached me yesterday and said he wants me to help him get help. He's 23 and has hit the bottom of his barrel. I have no idea where to get help or what to do. We live in Westland, MI. Can you direct me to someone who can help me in the Wayne County Area. He has no insurance. He did try to commit sucide last year with alchol. Please help him. Thank you.

There is a medicine called Naltrexone. It takes away the pleasure of drinking. It has proved very helpful for getting rid of alcohol addiction. It causes a loss of interest in drinking. Naltrexone should, if possible, be combined with psychotherapy.
